May.18,2010Carl F. Bucherer, in a startling move, has announced an exceptional innovative Patravi EvoTec DayDate watch basing on its original CFB A1000 manufacture movement at Baselworld 2010. The novel Carl F. Bucherer watch clearly expresses the innovative spirit that is part of the brand’s DNA.
Adhering firmly to the concept of having a highly functional, top quality, handsome watches, most of all of Carl F. Bucherer watches have something mechanically unique about them.
Though in the dazzling lines of the Patravi collection, Patravi EvoTec DayDate watch is prominent for its unique features. As it is declared by Thomas Morf, CEO of Carl F. Bucherer, “We wanted it to be a Patravi, but we wanted it to be recognizable as the watch that is using the new movement,” Morf explains. “It has all the elements of the Patravi, but we haven’t chosen round or tonneau, but another shape – the cushion.”
The latest Patravi timepiece is not only shielded with new movement but also frames stunningly new for the brand shape of the case which looks like the shape of a TV screen. The traditional appearance of the watch case is enhanced to perfection with high-polished diamond-cut hour markers that match the bold, partially skeletonized hands. The watch also boasts a big date and day of the week display, as well as a small running seconds in an appealing configuration on the uncluttered dial.
Also eye-dazzling is the finishing on the gorgeous watch, mounted on a soft calfskin leather strap with a hand folding and locking deployment clasp.
