Iran Man 2 and Jaeger-LeCoultre Watches

In the new Hollywood Hollywood blockbuster Iran Man 2, the hero Tony Stark has two close companions- War Machine and Jaeger-LeCoultre watches which are the personal watch choice of the actor Robert Downey Jr. And the choice is smart as most JLC watches are both cool and technical-looking. As far as I know, as least three different JLC watches are worn by Tony Stark when he put off the mechanical suit. And I will definitely go to watch the movie when time allows and to check it there are more JLC watches in that film.

Personally, I think the new JLC MVOX3 Tourbillon GMT watch in Platinum is arguably the highlight of the watch show in Iron Man 2.Either from style or pedigree, this JLC watch, as part of the partnership between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin, fits perfectly with Tony Stark and the theme of the movie. It displays hours, minutes, small seconds, periphery date, and second timezone.

Tony Stark wears other two watches that are classic-looking when he shows up in more formal occasions. One of them is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grand Tourbillon 1833 watch. This tourbillon watch, with second time zone in regulator style and a periphery date indicator, is quite rere and classic. In JLC tourbillon watch collection, it should be one of the most subdued. The other classic watch, according to JLC, is the Reverso Grande 985 which is also not a common JLC watches.

The price tag for the The AMVOX3 Tourbillon GMT is highest, and that of the Master Grand Tourbillon comes in the second. As the cheapest one, the Reverso Grande watch still asks for at least $25,000. For Tony Stark , who is a rich man in the Iran Man World, those price tags are of course within his payment capacity. But most people who watch this film probably have the ability to afford these pieces. It may be a small downside of this film-a mainstream movie shows non-mainstream watches.
